The brief was to design and create a series of numbers to represent forgotten credit ratings. Where possible, I chose to make these for real. The 484 was cut from a solid wooden block and the ceramic 517 is made out of clay (although I had a foam back up, just in case there was an explosion in the kiln!). The attic was an obvious build due to the restrictions of filming on location and by shooting in Ealing Studios’ we were able to make use of the tank.
